Tunbridge Wells Bridge Club
Anyone can
learn bridge.
Yes, you.
A friendly two-day course for people who have never played, and for people who play cards and want to learn bridge. Sixteen places. Teas, coffees and lunch both days.
Who it is for
Four seats at the table. One of them is yours.
Bridge is a partnership game for four people, and it is played by people of every age. You do not need to know a thing about it to start. We cut out the hard stuff and get you to the game.
Which one is you?
Four stars. Start at yours.
Wherever you start, the course meets you there and takes you through the four steps.
- One
New to cards
Never held a hand of cards? You are exactly who this is for.
- Two
Play cards, want to learn bridge
Whist, rummy, any card game at all. You are closer than you think.
- Three
Beginner to improver
You know the basics and want to play with confidence.
- Four
Improver to confident player
Ready for club nights, and for a system played around the world.
The wording of the four stars will follow Ravi's four-step document.
How we teach
Tell you. Show you. Practise it. Test it.
“We are cutting out all of the hard stuff that you need to learn and just getting you to the end game.”Ravi

Tell you
One idea at a time, in plain words. Nothing you have to take home and decode.
- 02
Show you
See it happen on the table before you try it yourself.
- 03
Practise it
Real hands, dealt at the table, at your pace.
- 04
Test your knowledge
Quick checks so it sticks. Whichever way you learn, we teach that way.

About Ravi
Thirty-five years in a global role. Now, the game he loves.
Ravi retired after thirty-five years working full time in a global role, and decided to give something back to the community and keep his sport alive.
The course is built the way Ravi learns best: tell you, show you, practise it, then test your knowledge. Whichever way you learn, we teach that way.
Ravi's own wording and credentials go here once he has confirmed them.
